MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform the day-to-day activities of the department

2. Ensures all requests such as material inspection, material pre-qualification, material onsite inspection and field testing are attended to or performed timely

3. Performs in-plant or material monitoring, inspection, and testing in accordance with Maynilad's Technical Specification

4. Evaluates new manufacturer, supplier, and product in accordance with Maynilad's Technical Specification

5. Conducts inspection of excess materials in compliance with Maynilad's Technical Specification that can be used for other projects

6. Inspects storage and handling of materials to maintain quality and checks if there are any off-standard materials on-site

7. Inspect the ongoing CAPEX and OPEX projects in accordance with Maynilad's Technical Specifications and approved Maynilad Standard Drawings.

8. Coordinates with the suppliers, projects-in-charge, and contractors on the schedule of inspection and testing of materials

9. Conducts process validation and controls audit among suppliers and performs product complaint or failure analysis.

10. Recommends results of inspection, evaluation, and issues reports on time

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSES

Graduate of any engineering course Preferably licensed Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineer

WORK EXPERIENCE With at least three (2) years of relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Knowledge in the interpretation of shop drawing, brochures, technical specifications and standards Ability to evaluate material test results per required standard and specification Proficient in MS Office High problem solving and analytical thinking skills Strong leadership skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to initiate innovations and leads implementations Licensed driver is an advantage
