Job Description

This internship offers a learning opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in Power BI and data analytics. The intern will support the team with basic data preparation, quality checks, and reporting tasks, while contributing to a dashboard project for the Specialty Nutrition Business under Aboitiz Foods.

Key Activities

  • Learn how to build, update, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data.
  • Help perform simple data quality checks (e.g., missing values, duplicates) and document findings.
  • Work closely with team members, participate in meetings, and apply feedback to tasks.
  • Gain exposure to data tools and develop new skills with mentor support.
Qualifications

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, or SQL).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of statistics and probability.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools or concepts.
Additional Information
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willing to work onsite or hybrid
  • Required hours: 360 or up 

Onboarding Requirements:

  • Officially enrolled in a university
  • At least on its penultimate year
  • Enrolled in an internship subject
  • With good scholastic records duly endorsed by the school
  • Able to pass the pre-internship requirements
