Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective learning solutions that enhance employee skills and performance. This role combines instructional design, facilitation, and project management to ensure high-quality learning experiences aligned with business needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze learning needs, define learning outcomes, and align on instructional strategies.
  • Design and develop instructional content and performance support materials, including eLearning modules, virtual/instructor-led training (VILT/ILT), microlearning, toolkits, job aids, infographics, and videos.
  • Deliver engaging virtual and in-person learning sessions using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other learning technologies.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to ensure strong learner engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage pre-, mid-, and post-session communications, including learning reinforcements and follow-ups.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and post-training assessments to continuously improve content and delivery.
  • Maintain project plans and documentation for learning initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and learner advocate by promoting available learning tools, platforms, and continuous development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with global design and delivery teams to ensure consistent learning experiences across functions and geographies.
  • Stay current with emerging learning technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in design and facilitation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, or Organizational Psychology.
  • 3–5 years of experience in learning, education, human resources, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Coaching, active listening, interpersonal skills, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, persuasion, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Hard Skills: Virtual facilitation, adult learning theory, project management, research, data analysis, reporting, writing skills, and oral comprehension.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in virtual classroom environments and eLearning development.
  • Proficiency with virtual learning technologies and tools (e.g., sharing applications, whiteboards, audio/video support, breakout sessions, and session recordings).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php47,000.00 per month
