Learning & Systems Supervisor
Overview
The Learning & Systems Supervisor is responsible for designing, developing, and managing digital and virtual learning solutions that support organizational strategies and skill-based learning journeys. This role oversees training content, ensures high-quality learning experiences, and leads a team of Learning Specialists to drive continuous improvement across various learning modalities.
Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Design & Management
- Design and develop comprehensive digital and virtual learning solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the loading, testing, and quality assurance of digital learning content.
- Curate, manage, and maintain training materials across multiple delivery formats, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and self-paced modules.
- Provide solution-oriented support to instructors and system users to ensure effective training delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning content and programs, offering data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients and SMEs to identify skill gaps, conduct needs assessments, and perform data analysis for program enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on learning assets, tools, and technologies to support learner development.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach Learning Specialists and Learning Systems Coordinators to ensure alignment with business goals and service standards.
- Establish clear objectives and performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Identify learning gaps within the team and implement targeted development plans.
- Address performance issues through effective coaching and apply corrective actions when required.
- Build strong partnerships with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of learning initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, or Psychology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning, education, HR, or a related field, with proven experience in team leadership and instructional design within a global shared services environment.
