SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (+ AUTOMATION) - Fully Remote & Night Shift

Work Location: This is a fully remote position and will work from home anywhere in the Philippines.

Work Schedule: In this role you'll be working U.S. traditional hours (Philippine night shift)

Job Summary: We are seeking 2 Senior Systems Administrators – 1 with a specialty in automation

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's core IT infrastructure. This is a critical role that will bring senior-level, hands-on expertise to the team. You will ensure the stability, performance, and optimization of our key systems, establish clear ownership of our infrastructure, and serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues. This role will leverage AI-powered solutions to enhance IT operations and will collaborate with the Security Analyst to implement new security standards. Your work will directly increase system uptime, reduce business risk, and enable teams to execute their strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and own core business platforms, including Office 365, OneLogin, , Intune, and Atera.

• Design, implement, and own the IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including the automation of employee onboarding and offboarding workflows.

• Lead infrastructure projects, such as SaaS implementations and platform migrations.

• Implement and manage AIOps (AI for IT Operations) tools for predictive monitoring, intelligent alerting, and root cause analysis to proactively address system issues.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and disaster recovery plans.

• Provide Tier-3 technical support and act as a mentor and escalation point for other administrators, providing mentorship on complex root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.

• Backfill support for Tier-1 as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration

• Expert-level knowledge of both Windows and macOS in an enterprise environment, Microsoft 365, and Identity Provider (IdP) platforms like OneLogin or Okta;

• Strong experience with MDMs such as Jamf and Intune and core networking

• Solid understanding of core internet and web technologies (DNS, HTTP/S, SSL, CDNs).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and communicate with a variety of audiences

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing change without direct authority

• Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong team collaboration skills, including reliability, positivity, problem-solving, and respect for diversity

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Experience working remotely and during US-business hours (Philippine night shift)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar degree

• Experience with AIOps platforms and leveraging AI for IT process automation

• General understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

• Certifications: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator; Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

AUTOMATION SPECIALTY OVERVIEW

You will serve as the technical bridge between infrastructure stability and process efficiency, leveraging automation platforms (n8n, ) to reduce manual toil.  Working in lockstep with the Security Analyst, you will act as the primary implementer of security directives, operationalizing policies into concrete system configurations. Your work will directly secure our identity perimeter and enable business agility through intelligent automation.

AUTOMATION SPECIALTY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary architect for the Identity Provider (OneLogin/Entra/etc.), managing complex SAML 2.0/OIDC integrations and SCIM provisioning.

• Ensure secure MDM configuration and lead infrastructure projects such as SaaS implementations and platform migrations.

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using low-code platforms (n8n, ) and utilize REST APIs to connect disparate business systems (Salesforce, Slack, etc.) where native connectors do not exist.

• Design ITSM processes for zero-touch onboarding/offboarding. Create expert-level scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for complex tasks.

• Partner with the Security Analyst to remediate vulnerabilities and apply technical controls to endpoints and platforms.

AUTOMATION SPECIALITY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Expert-level PowerShell scripting

• Deep understanding of authentication (SAML 2.0, OIDC) and SSO troubleshooting

• Experience building workflows with integration platforms (n8n, ) and REST APIs/Webhooks

AUTOMATION SPECIALITY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience architecting multi-step automation workflows with error handling (e.g., HRIS-to-AD provisioning)

• Coding skills (Python/JS) for JSON manipulation

• Certifications: Power Automate RPA (PL-500), L2+, n8n, or Workato Pro
