Job Summary:

The Sales Specialist for Modern Trade Accounts is responsible for managing and growing sales of dressed chicken products in key modern trade channels such as supermarkets, groceries, and convenience stores. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, maintains strong customer relationships, and implements effective promotional and merchandising strategies to strengthen brand presence and drive volume growth.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management

  • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with modern trade partners (e.g., SM, Robinsons, Puregold, and other key accounts).
  • Negotiate and implement trade agreements, pricing structures, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure compliance with sales terms and merchandising standards.

2. Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for dressed chicken products.
  • Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share in modern trade channels.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.

3. Merchandising & Promotion

  • Execute in-store displays, sampling, and promotional activities in coordination with marketing and trade marketing teams.
  • Monitor shelf presence, product freshness, and pricing competitiveness across accounts.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

4. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and QA to address customer needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company sales policies and account requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in FMCG, fresh food, or poultry industry.
  • Experience handling modern trade accounts is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel and work in the field.
