This is a remote position.

Schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM MNL (30-minute unpaid break)
Total Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours

Our client is seeking a Senior Development Manager with 7–10 years of combined software development and management experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader who can architect modern web applications while leading and mentoring a distributed team. You'll balance hands-on technical work with team leadership, collaborating with product and engineering leadership to drive innovation and deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a distributed team of developers, providing mentorship and performance management

  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to plan and execute projects

  • Oversee development processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and best practices

  • Support team growth, hiring, and career development

  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to software architecture decisions

  • Foster a positive, productive team culture across locations

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing distributed developer teams, preferably with team members in the Philippines

  • Strong technical background in software development

  • 7–10 years of combined development and management experience

  • Experience architecting and building modern web applications

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team management
