People & Culture | Employee Engagement | People Management | Learning & Development | Advertising & MarketingVarsity Co-op is drafting new members to join our roster We're looking for sports enthusiasts who are team players, highly creative, and love a good challenge. Job DescriptionBuild a good relationship with clients, and open up Varsity to more projects under them.

Liaise with creative, strategy, and accounts teams on deadlines, submissions, updates, and pitches. Conceptualize, create, execute, and produce any needed assets for the assigned pitches, projects, and accounts. This includes heavy photo and video work.

Collaborates with internal and external partners to make social content compelling for both fans and advertisers. Ability to oversee and swiftly create digital materials for posting across multiple social media accounts & platforms during live sports window. Work collaboratively with Varsity to intake briefs for internal projects and understand our brand.

This includes conceptualizing and pitching executable stories that are both personal and connect with the brand, as well as creating the necessary decks and treatments for them. Share network of creative resources who can be brought on to support the project, as well as working within a set budget. Provide oversight on post production process.

Own the story from start to finish. QualificationsHas a Bachelor's Degree with a major in communications, marketing, advertising, media, digital, public relations, design, film, or any related field3 years professional experience in an advertising or marketing industry, or in any similar field

Strong understanding of storytelling–visually and narratively.Has a deep understanding of video editing; experience with audio, lighting, photography and video

With exceptional understanding and innate interest in basketball, specifically NBA and WNBA. This interest must go on and off the court – this includes basketball news, statistics, techniques, and personalities. Must be flexible and able to work with events, clients, and stakeholders in different time zones.
