PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

To provide outstanding customer service and promote the merchandise in order to support our client in meeting their sales targets.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report directly to the Cooperative Supervisor and get instructions and approvals from the Cooperative Supervisor.
  • Courteously greet the customer as soon as they approach the selling area.
  • Assist customers with their inquiries such as location of the merchandise, information on and qualities of the merchandise, promotional campaigns and freebies.
  • Offer suggestions or recommendations to the customer in relation to the products.
  • Display and maintain, in an attractive manner, the merchandise in the selling rack.
  • Assist and support the client in the inventory of the merchandise to ensure accountability and security of the merchandise within the assigned area.
  • Develop strong product knowledge.
  • Keep the area of responsibility clean and tidy.
  • Contribute to team effort and target by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
