Customer Service Assistant

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
To provide outstanding customer service and promote the merchandise in order to support our client in meeting their sales targets.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report directly to the Cooperative Supervisor and get instructions and approvals from the Cooperative Supervisor.
- Courteously greet the customer as soon as they approach the selling area.
- Assist customers with their inquiries such as location of the merchandise, information on and qualities of the merchandise, promotional campaigns and freebies.
- Offer suggestions or recommendations to the customer in relation to the products.
- Display and maintain, in an attractive manner, the merchandise in the selling rack.
- Assist and support the client in the inventory of the merchandise to ensure accountability and security of the merchandise within the assigned area.
- Develop strong product knowledge.
- Keep the area of responsibility clean and tidy.
- Contribute to team effort and target by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
