Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer (Motion & UI-Focused) who can take a website project from concept to completion. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in design, preferably graphic design, and a keen sense of interactivity, animation, and user experience. You will be responsible for designing and building visually engaging, responsive websites that integrate modern aesthetics with dynamic visual elements.

Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: PHP
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours
  • Schedule: Flexible, but must be available during standard Eastern Time (ET) business hours
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor
  • Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of web design projects — from ideation, wireframing, and mockups to development and final launch.
  • Design responsive, user-friendly websites with a strong eye for layout, typography, branding, and visual hierarchy.
  • Build websites using platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or other modern CMS or no-code tools.
  • Integrate basic motion graphics or animated elements to enhance user experience (e.g., Lottie animations, animated SVGs, video banners).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret creative briefs and translate them into digital concepts.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for performance, SEO, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Provide light ongoing maintenance and content updates post-launch.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showcasing completed web design projects (preferably with animation/motion integration).
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or equivalent.
  • Experience using WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of front-end principles (HTML/CSS basics is a plus but not required).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage projects independently.
  • Background in graphic design is highly preferred.
