Join a growing solar energy company as a Solar Appointment Setter, connecting homeowners with clean energy solutions. This role involves handling challenging conversations, setting qualified appointments, and contributing to a performance-driven, high-rejection environment.

Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: 47,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (lunch 2–3 PM)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls consistently to generate qualified appointments
  • Handle objections from prospects professionally and confidently
  • Set daily appointments for the sales team using proven scripts and processes
  • Maintain resilience and positive attitude despite challenging interactions
  • Track and report appointment setting metrics and conversion rates
  • Participate in ongoing training on solar industry processes and objection handling
  • Contribute to team competitions and performance-driven culture
  • Learn and adapt to company-specific solar appointment setting strategies

Requirements

  • Clear, professional English communication with minimal accent
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and rejection without losing motivation
  • Strong resilience and "grit" to persist through challenging interactions
  • Approximately 3 years of US-based sales or appointment setting experience preferred
  • Willingness to work a 40-hour/week schedule consistently
  • Bonus: Experience in high-rejection industries (solar, insurance, home improvement)
  • Comfortable in performance-based work environments
