About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of telecom equipment and materials, ensuring timely delivery to support field operations, network rollouts, and project deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels of telecom equipment, spare parts, and tools.

  • Manage and optimize warehouse space and layout for efficient storage.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for network equipment, towers, cables, and other telecom materials.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to project sites and regional offices.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport vendors, and internal teams for order fulfillment and shipment tracking.

  • Supply Chain Management:

  • Monitor and manage the supply chain to prevent delays and ensure material availability.

  • Support procurement by tracking purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (if applicable).

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and returns.

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports for management.
  • Track KPIs related to delivery times, costs, and inventory turnover.

  • Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with security for safe transportation of sensitive telecom equipment.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in the telecom or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience (Optional but a Plus)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with telecom equipment and rollout logistics.
  • Knowledge of customs clearance and regulatory compliance for telecom imports.
