Job Responsibilities:

A Deputy Cakes Manager is the second-in-command in the cake-making department, working under Cakes Manager:

Supporting cake production:

  • Assisting with cake production tasks, such as mixing batter, decorating cakes, and ensuring quality control.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Replenishing ingredients and cake supplies.
  • Overseeing the work of cake decorators and other bakery staff in the cake department.
  • Providing training and guidance to new staff members on cake-making techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitoring cake inventory levels and placing orders for new ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of cake production and inventory.
  • Minimizing waste and ensuring cost-effective cake production.
  • Assisting the Cakes Manager with customer inquiries and special cake orders.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with the quality and presentation of cakes.
  • Assist with developing new cake recipes and menus.
  • Participate in inventory control and budgeting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering course
  • With at least 3 years of relevant Managerial role
  • Able to work onsite in Meycauayan City, Bulacan
  • Relevant work experience in Manufacturing Company of Cakes/Pastries is an advantage
