Role Summary

Design and implement automations and AI-assisted workflows that improve team efficiency, consistency, and operational performance.

This role focuses on business process automation across the organization — integrating tools like , Office 365, and internal data systems — to remove repetitive tasks, enforce rules, and streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, design, and build automation workflows to streamline repetitive business processes (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, MAP violation checks, AGL shipment tracking, and team coordination).
  • Develop Python scripts, Airflow DAGs, or low-code automations (Power Automate, n8n) to connect and orchestrate internal tools , Excel, email, Teams).
  • Implement AI-assisted automation — e.g., summarizing reports, identifying data anomalies, generating alerts, or producing insights from text data.
  • Collaborate with team members to map business workflows and design automation opportunities that deliver tangible time or accuracy improvements.
  • Integrate and synchronize data across , Office 365, and the data warehouse, ensuring automations respect business rules.
  • Schedule, monitor, and maintain automations in Airflow, ensuring logging, retries, and alerts.
  • Document automation logic, data flow, and dependencies for future maintenance.
  • Support and train team members to leverage automated tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineer to feed automation triggers or results into analytical pipelines when relevant.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Python development skills
  • Experience building Airflow DAGs or similar automation schedules
  • Familiarity with low-code tools (Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, etc.)
  • Ability to design and document business workflows logically
  • Integration experience with , Office 365, and REST APIs
  • Practical understanding of AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, OpenAI API, Copilot) for business automation
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage non-technical users

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Grafana or Power BI for tracking automation outcomes
  • Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or data pipeline structures
  • Experience with alerting systems (Teams, email, Slack integrations)
  • Background in operations or e-commerce workflows
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance
