Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Senior QA Test Automation Engineer

In this role, you will be a key member of our test team, responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. You will collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure thorough test coverage and perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing

Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, with emphasis on functional and data testing

·       Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

·       Lead & perform functional, regression, integration, performance & Data validation testing initiatives.

·       Perform complex SQL queries and database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

·       Analyse business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios.

·       Identify, document, and track software defects and work with the development team to resolve issues.

·       Support automation efforts and maintain existing automated test scripts when needed

·       Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on testing best practices.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

·       Relevant years of experience in software application testing with strong focus on functional and data testing.

·       Expert-level SQL skills and experience with database testing, data validation, and ETL testing

·       Experience with data warehousing concepts, reporting tools, and data analytics

·       Strong knowledge of systems with workflows and underlying data structures.

·       With strong automation background on java-based automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright)

·       Proven business domain expertise with ability to understand complex business processes and requirements

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to plan and prioritize objectives and deliverables.

·       Strong communication skills with the ability to drive communication across teams and global locations.

·       Experience working on Scrum teams and familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·       Ability to navigate vague specifications and requirements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to clarify expectations.

·       Experience in developing and implementing automated tests for platforms with workflows.

·       Experience in developing comprehensive test strategies for data-intensive applications.

·       Leadership experience in guiding testing teams and driving quality initiatives

·       Experience with test automation tools (Robot Framework, Python, Typescript/Javascript) is a plus
