Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the property by managing accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The role ensures proper internal controls, cost management, and financial strategies that support profitability and sustainable growth. With a hospitality background, the Finance Manager understands industry-specific KPIs, revenue streams, and cost structures to guide management in making sound business decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections.
- Analyze monthly P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets, providing variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Accounting & Reporting
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with corporate reporting standards.
Cost Control & Revenue Management Support
- Track operational costs (rooms, F&B, utilities, labor, supplies) and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Operations to monitor revenue per department.
- Oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with BIR, DOLE, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare documents for internal and external audits.
- Implement accounting policies aligned with hospitality and corporate standards.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operations.
- Oversee bank relationships and debt management if applicable.
- Authorize disbursements in accordance with approval limits.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Build capacity within the finance team to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Foster collaboration with other departments on financial awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA license is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in hospitality (hotel/resort/F&B).
- Strong knowledge of hospitality financial metrics (RevPAR, GOP, NOI, COGS, etc.).
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or hospitality PMS integration).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality-specific financial practices (BAR pricing, cost per occupied room, service charge distribution).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
- Leadership and staff management capabilities.

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
