Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization or revenue growth.
  • Provide financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and business performance reports.

Accounting & Financial Operations:

  • Supervise daily finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.
  • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting and finance staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Strategic Support:

  • Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and capital expenditures.

Qualifications:

Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Required)
  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification (Preferred)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards and reporting.
