Role Overview
Salty Screens is a Christian faith-driven pool enclosure company based in Florida, US, committed to excellence, service, and community. We're hiring a Marketing Director to own strategy, execution, content, and analytics with a hands-on approach. This is a part-time role for someone who thrives in both creative and operational work, blending strategic leadership with real-world execution.
This is not a "We're the agency" role—it's"* for a builder, doer, and leaderYou'llit's* need to roll up your sleeves daily to grow our local presence, refine our brand voice, and create content that reflects our values and craftsmanship.
Your Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Develop and manage the annual and seasonal marketing roadmap.
- Own the Salty Screens brand: visual identity, tone of voice, message hierarchy.
- Align all content and campaigns with our Christian values of honesty, stewardship, and service.
- Monitor performance via KPIs (leads, conversions, engagement) and continuously improve.
2. Hands-On Content Creation
- Create all marketing assets, including flyers, reels, postcards, banners, and holiday campaigns.
- Use tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Google Design Materials independently.
- Script, edit, and publish short-form video content for social media (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
- Develop and maintain our weekly content calendar across platforms.
Typical Weekly Output
2 short-form videos/week (Reels/Shorts)
2–3 feed posts/week
Light DM/comment checks 3–4 days/week
1 weekly report + next week plan
3. Digital Marketing & Community Growth
- Manage our website, SEO, and Google Business listing.
- Drive growth via organic content, referral campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
- Build and manage email marketing, customer nurture sequences, and loyalty campaigns.
4. Social Media Management
- Execute consistent weekly social media posting (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts).
- Monitor and respond to DMs/comments with professionalism and care.
- Manage weekly performance reports to guide content priorities
- Optionally explore AI tools (e.g., HeyGen or Synthesia) to scale content.
5. Local & Charitable Marketing
- Build and execute "giving-based" marketing programs—e.g., charitable tie-ins, holiday causes, and community spotlights.
- Coordinate with local churches, nonprofits, and homeowner events for visibility.
- Help document customer testimonials and community stories in ways that inspire trust and connection.
6. Eventually: Build a Scalable System
- Document SOPs and campaign templates for repeatable execution.
- Hire and manage part-time creators or interns if needed as the brand grows.
Your Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with home services, Florida local business, or Christian brands.
- Portfolio that demonstrates both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Proficient in: Canva, CapCut (or equivalent), Meta Business Suite, email tools (Mailchimp, GoHighLevel, etc.).
- Able to write clean, values-aligned copy for emails, social captions, and CTAs.
- Strong visual design sense and attention to branding detail.
- Comfortable managing social media accounts and responding to customer DMs with care and empathy.
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
- Experience working in or with a faith-based business or ministry.
- Familiarity with AI video/avatar tools (e.g., Synthesia, HeyGen).
- Experience capturing or directing photo/video shoots.

Position Details
- Type: Part-Time Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Flexible with 1–2 check-ins/week
- Location: Remote (Florida knowledge preferred)
- Compensation: Hourly or monthly retainer + optional performance bonus based on lead volume and brand growth
