Job Description

As an Accountant, you will support end-to-end accounting processes for U.S. property and community portfolios. You'll handle reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and collaborate closely with international stakeholders to ensure compliance, transparency, and consistency across real estate operations.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1-3 years of business accounting experience; exposure to US-based accounting environments is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with strong academic credentials; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing CPA certification is highly encouraged
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting standards
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with US clients and PH-based teams
• High level of comfort using technology, including web-based accounting systems and platforms
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization while delivering accurate, high-quality results
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with team members, clients, and service providers

Your Daily Tasks

• Assume ownership of the reconciliation process for CAM buildings/portfolios
• Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
• Review monthly financial statements for CAM buildings/portfolios
• Handle direct financial reporting for community condo and homeowners' associations
• Work with the Chicago-based accounting department on reconciliations and reporting
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Assist in onboarding new community associations
• Answer accounting procedure questions
• Improve internal processes for both accounting and operations
