Job Summary

  • Responsible for the operations in accounting relating to financial reporting, developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning

  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Prepare P&L, cost reports, and financial statements.
  • Maintain financial reporting structure and resolve discrepancies.
  • Implement accounting policies and internal controls.

Monitoring & Analysis

  • Review department efficiency, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Analyze trends, recommend budgets, and ensure expenditure control.
  • Track spending for compliance and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting entries, reports, and checks.
  • Maintain financial databases and systems.

Coordination

  • Liaise with auditors, support audits and inventory processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet company objectives.
  • Assist in training and procedure development.

Reporting

  • Provide timely financial reports and respond to executive inquiries.

Other Duties

  • Train and supervise staff; manage performance issues.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Execute other tasks assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or accounting related course
  • CPA is advantage
  • People Management experience
  • With at least 3-5 years' experience as accounting supervisor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate team members
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks)
