We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Supervisor to join our growing team at GOH Management Inc' in Cebu City, Cebu. As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and reporting for the company. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and oversee the work of the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
  3. Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements and other accounts
  4. Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-making
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
  8. Provide coaching and mentorship to the accounting team to help develop their skills and expertise

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred
  3. Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting supervisory role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  8. Demonstrable experience in implementing financial policies and procedures
