Job Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Develop and manage the annual budget long-term financial strategies

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to senior management

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Accounting and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and system

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations and standards

  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations, credit risks, and market volatility

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for compliance reviews

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth

  • Assign tasks, set objectives, and evaluate team performance

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the Finance Department

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related Field

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant or CPA

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with at least 3 years in managerial role

  • Strong Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards and tax laws

  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS. Excel skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
