The
Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Security Engineer
plays a critical role in designing, securing, and optimizing cloud and hybrid environments across the enterprise. This position is part of a global cybersecurity and infrastructure team, ensuring that systems remain resilient, compliant, and aligned with modern security frameworks.


What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and secure Azure infrastructure components (NSGs, Firewalls, Routing, Peering, Private Endpoints, WAFs).
  • Manage identity and access controls using Azure AD, PIM, RBAC, and Conditional Access Policies.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Sentinel for threat monitoring and log ingestion.
  • Strengthen network and perimeter security using Cisco ASA, FortiGate, and Zscaler solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and security tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Octopus).
  • Ensure compliance with Essential 8, NIST, and SOCI frameworks through proactive security governance.
  • Collaborate with SOC and architecture teams to enhance monitoring, response, and documentation quality.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture interpretations, and as-built guides.


What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Infrastructure, or Network Engineering within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Azure cloud security, network engineering, and identity management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD, RBAC, PIM, CyberArk/BeyondTrust, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation.
  • Solid understanding of VMware, Hyper-V, and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305, SC-200, SC-300
  • Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCNP (Networking & Security)
  • Security certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
  • Experience working in highly regulated or security-focused industries
