Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Accounting Department:
  • Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and policies.
  • Ensure the department adheres to financial regulations and company policies.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
  • Ensure the financial reporting complies with applicable accounting standards and laws.
  • BIR Transaction Handling:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other BIR requirements.
  • Stay updated on BIR regulations and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance.
  • Handle tax audits, liaise with BIR officers, and address any tax issues or disputes.
  • General Ledger Maintenance:
  • Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and reconcile accounts regularly.
  • Monitor day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning:
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Internal Controls and Auditing:
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain internal accounting controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and implement audit recommendations.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Monitor legal changes and ensure the company's financial practices comply with current regulations.
  • Coordination with Other Departments:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Operations, to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead initiatives for process improvements, automation, and technology implementation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
