Job Summary

Responsible in collating data needed to determine the product costs, analyze data to identify the desired level of profit and prepare period reports to aid Top Management in decision-making. 

Qualification Requirements

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Accounting Technology, BS/BSBA – Management Accounting
  • 3- 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance and costing in food manufacturing industry
  • At least 3years of relevant work experience
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Can work under pressure
  • Residing near Marikina Heights

Training / Knowledge / Certification

CPA/CMA/ACCA/RCA or equivalent certification is an advantage but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calculates product cost, transfer price and recommended Suggested Retail Price
  • Calculates transfer price based on the established pricing matrix for the different product category.
  • Calculates the recommended SRP based on the theoretical Gross Profit Margin.
  • Updates product cost, transfer price and SRP in the system.
  • Month-end inventory
  • Coordinates and discuss with key stakeholders the activities in preparation of the month-end inventory count.
  • Acts as Roving Officer (part of Inventory Task Force) during the month-end inventory and generates the monthly inventory count.
  • Verifies and performs manual and system approval of inventory adjustments.
  • Discuss the result of the month-end activities and gather the plan of actions and commitment from key stakeholders to maintain or improve results for the following months.
  • Prepares and submits reports as necessary (e.g., inventory valuation, standard cost versus actual production cost, average price, volume variance, RM average cost, purchase price/volume analysis, updated BOM).
  • Generates summary of items from production that are the subject of a Quality Disposition Report (QDR), including quantity and cost.
  • Enrolls new vendors into the system.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
