The General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. This role supports management through timely and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, review, and maintain accurate general ledger entries
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation
  • Analyze financial data and report variances against budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal control policies
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and explanations
  • Collaborate with other departments on financial and accounting-related matters
