What You'll Do:
A benefits specialist manages and administers employee benefits programs, including government mandatory benefits, and statutory benefits. Responsible for ensuring the company's benefits packages are competitive, compliant with regulations, and understandable to employees. Duties include accurate and timely remittances of government mandatory, review and analyzing plans, managing enrollment and claims and acting as a point of contact for employee questions related to benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Program management: Design, recommend, implement, and administer a company's benefits programs.
Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs adhere to statutory law and regulations.
Employee support: Explain benefits to employees, answer their questions, and assist with enrollment, clarification and claims resolution.
Cost analysis: Research and analyze benefit plans to find cost-effective options while maintaining a competitive package for employees.
Data analysis: Collect and analyze benefits data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and make recommendations for program improvements.
Vendor relations: Work with external vendors to manage benefits contracts and services.
Who are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a compensation and benefits role minimum of two years.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and tools like Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
