About the role

This is a full-time position for a Biomedical Engineer (Laboratory) at Impexcos Co. in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's operations, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of medical equipment and technologies. What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for a variety of biomedical equipment, such as diagnostic tools, monitoring devices, and laboratory instruments

  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with equipment

  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the continuous operation and reliability of laboratory instruments

  • Conduct regular inspections, calibrations, and performance testing of equipment to meet regulatory and safety standards

  • Assist in the procurement, installation, and integration of new biomedical equipment and technologies

  • Provide training and support to laboratory personnel on the proper use and maintenance of equipment

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and implement new technologies to enhance laboratory operations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a biomedical engineering or technical support role within a laboratory or healthcare setting

  • Strong understanding of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic instruments, monitoring devices, and laboratory instruments

  • Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of biomedical equipment

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently

  • Experience in implementing preventive maintenance programs and conducting calibrations and performance testing

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team

  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies
