DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations (ER):

  • Develop and implement policies that promote a positive work culture.

  • Address employee concerns and provide resolutions in alignment with company policies.

  • Conduct counseling sessions and provide guidance on workplace issues.

  • Organize employee engagement activities to boost morale and productivity.

  • Monitor and analyze employee satisfaction and retention trends.

Labor Relations (LR):

  • Ensure company compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Manage disciplinary actions, investigations, and administrative hearings.

  • Handle grievances and facilitate dispute resolution between employees and management.

  • Maintain documentation related to employee relations and labor disputes.

  • Liaise with legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and government agencies on labor matters.

HR Compliance & Reporting:

  • Keep updated on labor laws, government mandates, and company policies.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations on ER and LR matters for management.

  • Assist in reviewing and updating employee handbooks and HR policies.

Recruitment

  • Ensures that all avenues are exhausted in sourcing for candidates.

  • Manpower placement

  • Ensures that only the most qualified candidates are forwarded for further interview.

  • Conducts background check of candidates to be hired for probationary status. Ensures that background check results are available and the same were reviewed by the HR Supervisor prior to boarding of candidates.

  • Encodes relevant employee data in the employee master list (excel file)

  • Maintains accurate headcount report, closely coordinating with Recruitment Section.

Training & OD

  • Orientation of new hires-Retail and HQ
