Interior Designer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS Interior Design or BS Architecture
• Has at least two (2) to three (3) years of work experience as an Interior Designer or any related field

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Concept & Design Development

• Provides input in the creation of preliminary plans and design concepts, material selections, drawings, schedules, and/or mood boards
• Coordinates or meets with other departments, if necessary, to clarify and document their interior design requirements
• Conducts project site visits to check measurements and other relevant information needed in the site
• Prepares construction drawings, material specification, and manuals within the project scope, theme, and budget as assigned by the project Interior Designer-In-Charge
• Prepares presentation boards and participates in meetings with internal customers
• Organizes project plan specifications and procedures to ensure accurate product installation

Design Implementation

• Coordinates with the suppliers the specifications of the fixtures, furnishing, and equipment in the design plans
• Coordinates with the project Interior Designer-In-Charge the information and delivery schedule of furniture and accessories
• Coordinates material orders status with subcontractors for delivery and installation schedule
• Assists in staging the installation and arrangement of furniture in the project
• Coordinates and oversees installation care of Fit-out Team and handles post-installation follow-up activities
• Conducts site visits with Interior Designer-in-Charge to ensure that the ongoing projects are adhering to the approved design plan and budget

Materials and Binders Management

• Assists in maintaining the design and materials library and maintain files for reference
• Provides support to Interior Designer-in-Charge in researching and sourcing of furniture, lighting fixtures, floor and wall covering, fabrics, and accessories to meet the requirements of the project
