  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft accurate, orderly, readable and high-quality detailed drawings to be sent for review by Lead Production Designer and Senior Designers.
  • Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the Senior Designers and Clients.
  • Work closely with Senior Designers and Junior Designers to make sure that the design is precise. Also, to ensure that contract responsibilities are met.
  • Meet all project specifications and formatting within company principles and standards.
  • Understands the equations, calculations and written instructions from designers before beginning a CAD drawing.
  • Uses manual drawing skills for plans that cannot be computer generated.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice.
  • Perform any other design-related tasks and assignments as instructed by The Management.
  • Coordinate and support design managers and the Construction and Project Management team.
  • JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Drafting/ Design, or other similar fields.

Work Experience:

Must have at least 2 years of AutoCAD experience in the Architectural/ Interior Design discipline preferred.

Training:

Trained in AutoCAD technologies and/ or other drafting applications.

Skills:

Must be highly proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, preferably with intermediate to advanced computer skills, and should be detail oriented, highly motivated, able to handle constructive feedback and work in a team environment.

Knowledge:

Must be knowledgeable in Computer Aided Design, Architecture & Interior Design, Basic Microsoft Programs, and other technicalities.

  • Must be highly reliable – can take responsibility for their assignments, strictly meet deadlines, and should be able to perform accurate, consistent and detail-oriented work.
  • Must be a team player – can engage with their co-workers and should be able to collaborate with the team. Should be flexible, willing to learn and adapt, and open to constructive feedback.
  • Must have strong communication skills, good work ethic and willingness to work overtime if/ when required.
