Job Summary:

The Senior Finance Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company's overall financial strategy, management, and performance. This role ensures the organization's financial health, supports sustainable growth, and drives strategic decision-making through sound financial planning, risk management, and governance. The Sr. Finance Manager provides visionary leadership to the finance, accounting, treasury, and compliance functions while maintaining alignment with the company's long-term goals.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive team in driving financial and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's business objectives, growth initiatives, and capital investments.
  • Provide strategic insights and financial guidance to support decision-making and organizational planning.

2. Financial Management and Planning

  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor the company's financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective measures to achieve business goals.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and investments to maximize shareholder value.

3. Accounting and Reporting

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
  • Implement strong internal controls, accounting policies, and audit procedures.

4. Treasury, Risk, and Compliance

  • Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and treasury operations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors.

5. Business Development and Cost Optimization

  • Drive cost management initiatives, efficiency improvements, and financial process automation.
  • Partner with business units to evaluate project profitability, pricing strategies, and investment returns.
  • Support strategic projects and expansion initiatives through financial modeling and due diligence.

6. Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to promote financial discipline and business alignment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, treasury, and strategic leadership—preferably in a manufacturing, real estate, or Power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations, tax compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented and ethical approach to management.
