Position Summary

The Tier 1 Network Support Specialist serves as the
first line of defense
in resolving network-related issues. The role is responsible for providing essential technical assistance, monitoring network performance, and escalating complex problems to higher support tiers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    basic technical support
    and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure seamless operations.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher support tiers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and network performance reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating solutions to end-users.

Minimum Requirements

  • Open to
    fresh graduates
    ; relevant internships or training in networking are an advantage.
  • Must have a
    Bachelor's Degree
    in
    Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)
    ,
    Computer Engineering (COE)
    , or
    Information Technology (IT)
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    basic networking fundamentals
    (e.g., OSI Layer).
  • Internship or hands-on experience in network monitoring or troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with common network tools and diagnostic utilities.
