JOB SUMMARY:

Senior Network Engineer (SNE) will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. SNE will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity and efficiency of our network systems while providing technical leadership and guidance to the network engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable network infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Perform network capacity planning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct network security assessments and implement measures to safeguard against security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the network engineering team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with leading networking equipment vendors (Proprietary/Open Source).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, Prometheus and other Open-Source Network Utilities).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, NSE or equivalent are highly desirable.
