Job Overview / Summary

The Finance Assistant is responsible for posting all ADA and PDC transactions for Idesia projects. He/She will also serve as a reserve cashier reliever across all Idesia sites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Import and post bills payments, and print corresponding receipts with collection reports.
  • Post all bank collections and print receipts with collection reports upon receipt of updated passbooks (Equity, Loan, Take-out, Cash payments, etc.).
  • Transmit printed receipts to the Customer Care department.
  • Validate direct deposits by reconciling deposit slips with passbook entries.
  • Transmit PDCs for warehousing to SBC twice a month (10 banking days before due date).
  • Submit requests for PDC check pull-outs (10 banking days before due date).
  • Import and post ADA and PDC payments every 5th and 20th of the month.
  • Monitor and reconcile transactions in Maya.
  • Prepare acknowledgment receipts (AR) for cancelled checks, interest income, fund transfers, and time deposits (TD).
  • Perform other cashiering-related tasks when assigned on-site.

As Needed

  • Deposit checks for loan take-out (usually HDMF).
  • Perform other finance or cashiering tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in cashiering or finance functions (experience in real estate is an advantage)
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills
