About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Collections & Billing Team Lead
to oversee and continuously improve the billing and collections process across the
APAC region
. This role focuses on ensuring timely receivables, supporting day-to-day team operations, and strengthening partner relationships while driving process improvements in a regional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Receivables Oversight

  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables from partners.
  • Implement and monitor collection timelines, including payment tracking, follow-ups, reminder notices, payment arrangements, suspensions, terminations, and debt recovery procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regional best practices.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and analyze aging reports, cash receipt projections, and other receivables reports for leadership review.
  • Support accurate cash flow forecasting and performance tracking.

Partner & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Maintain positive and professional communication with partners.
  • Address billing inquiries and resolve disputes by collaborating with internal teams to ensure invoice accuracy and timely resolution.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support to the billing and collections team.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline the end-to-end
    order-to-cash
    process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
    , or a related field.
  • At least 5 years
    of experience in billing and collections, with a
    minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
    .
  • Exposure to
    APAC billing and collections practices
    is highly preferred.
  • Experience using
    ERP systems
    and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and support team performance.
