Responsibilities:

  • Review full set of accounts and assists/reviews in compliance deliverables (e.g. tax returns, FS prep)
  • Ensures communication timelines are followed
  • Performs most review and controls related to financial reporting and taxes
  • Suggests improvements to processes, templates or workflow
  • Responsible for documentation and update of Standard Operating Procedures per client
  • Identifies potential issues early and flags them
  • Oversees Timekeeping reports of assigned team
  • Weekly planning and retrospectives

Key Attributes

  • Can work with minimal supervision in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.
  • At least 2+ yrs and up of working experience on a senior level
    in general accounting functions, Payroll, Taxation / financial audit gained from the Big 4 or related field is required for this position
  • Must have a supervisory experience / people management experience for at least 6 months.
  • Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud-based accounting system is highly preferred
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid set up and can travel to Mandaluyong City
