JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Accounting Associate is responsible for overseeing financial reporting and tax compliance activities, ensuring timely preparation and analysis of key financial reports, and supporting audit and tax requirements. This role also involves guiding junior accounting staff and maintaining accurate records to support business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Financial Reporting & Analysis


• Prepare monthly FS database reports to support review of expense accounts vs. prior year


• Prepare rebates allocation files for monthly reporting


• Generate monthly sales margin (YTD and MTD) and inventory aging reports with analysis


• Maintain and update Online P&L reports.


• Update PFRS 16 templates for new store openings, closures, and concessions (quarterly).


• Calculate monthly/quarterly sales incentives and ensure timely submission


• Audit & Compliance


• Prepare interim audit schedules for AP, inventory, and other non-RISS items (annually).


• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.


• Tax Compliance


• Review VAT supporting schedules and reconciliations prior to Controller's review

QUALIFICATIONS:


• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any business-related course


• With at least 1-3 years of relevant working experience


• Proficient in MS Excel


• Accuracy and attention to detail


• Good oral and written communication skills


• High degree of time management capability
