The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of hospital infrastructure and facilities. This role ensures that all civil works comply with safety standards, healthcare regulations, and operational requirements of a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage civil engineering projects within the hospital premises, including renovations, expansions, and repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hospital buildings and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and ensure structural integrity.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineers to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and hospital standards.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for civil works projects.
  • Provide technical support for emergency repairs and facility upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation of all civil works and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to minimize disruption during construction or maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in hospital or healthcare facility projects.
  • Knowledge of infection control and hospital safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
