Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Design

  • Develop and review civil engineering designs for hospital buildings, roads, drainage, and utility systems.

  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical/electrical engineers, and healthcare planners to ensure functional and compliant designs.

  • Construction Oversight

  • Supervise civil works during hospital construction or renovation projects.

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve engineering issues on-site.

  • Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all civil engineering works comply with local building codes, hospital safety standards, and infection control protocols.

  • Prepare documentation for regulatory approvals and inspections.

  • Maintenance & Upgrades

  • Assess structural integrity of hospital buildings and recommend repairs or upgrades.

  • Support facilities management in maintaining roads, drainage, and external hospital infrastructure.

  • Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.

  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and cost estimates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed Civil Engineer preferred)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects (hospital or healthcare facility experience is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of structural design, construction methods, and materials
  • Familiarity with hospital safety standards and healthcare facility requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
