About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our Warehouse Robotics Team. This role is ideal for someone who can combine process engineering with robot development, helping us build and improve our telepresence robots.

The ideal candidate will help set standards, develop SOPs, optimize workflows, and support the structural/mechanical aspects of robot assembly. You will also be involved in quality assurance, testing, and continuous improvement of our robotics production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for robot production and warehouse processes
  • Analyze workflows and create efficient systems for assembly, testing, and quality assurance
  • Assist with the structural design of telepresence robots, ensuring stability, safety, and performance
  • Collaborate on the design of moving parts, joints, mechanisms, and other dynamic components
  • Conduct durability and stress testing of robot prototypes and final units
  • Oversee or support the robot assembly process, ensuring adherence to standards and quality metrics
  • Perform QA checks, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements
  • Create or modify designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AUTOCAD, or similar)
  • Utilize 3D printing (FDM/SLA) and work with resin, fiberglass, and other prototyping materials for rapid prototyping
  • Coordinate with technical and warehouse teams to streamline production and deployment
  • Evaluate and enhance the overall robot manufacturing process to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Experience in robotics, automation, manufacturing, or process improvement is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in:
  • CAD software (Shaper, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • 3D printing technologies (FDM/SLA)
  • Resin, fiberglass, and prototyping materials
  • Background or exposure in:
  • Structural and mechanical design
  • Moving mechanical components
  • Durability testing
  • Assembly processes
  • Excellent skills in process mapping, workflow optimization, and SOP development
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in engineering, warehouse, and QA
  • Has initiative, good communication skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset
