We're Hiring: Nagios Administrator

Join our Global Monitoring Team and play a vital role in maintaining system uptime and performance. We're looking for a proactive and analytical Monitoring Specialist with strong hands-on experience in
Nagios setup, configuration, and administration


Position Objective / Job Summary

Provide 1st-level support for all alerts and monitoring-supported services globally, ensuring prompt, professional, and courteous incident management.


Training Details

Duration: 4–6 weeks

Setup: Remote

Availability: Can start immediately


Deployment Setup

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Schedule: Shifting


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network and system health, investigate alerts, and report findings using monitoring tools.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting, escalation, and coordination of incidents per defined procedures.
  • Log, tag, and perform first-level fixes for servers, networks, and applications in line with SLAs.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Adhere to company policies and information security standards.


Technical Competencies

  • Proficient in PC Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Azure, AWS).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Nagios
    — setup, configuration, alert management, and administration are highly preferred.
  • Familiar with tools such as AppDynamics, Elastic, and SolarWinds.
  • Capable of generating scheduled reports and documenting monitoring processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and ticketing tools.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in monitoring or infrastructure support (problem tracking & incident management).
  • Advantage: Experience with applications, network environments, and customer interaction.
