As we expand into new cities and service verticals, we're hiring an Expansion & Market Launch Lead to drive go-to-market strategy, execution, and post-launch growth for each new Muvr market.
The RoleThe Expansion & Market Launch Lead will own the end-to-end launch lifecycle for new cities, regions, and service lines — from market research and operational setup to post-launch optimization.
You'll work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Provider Growth to design scalable launch playbooks, manage field activations, and ensure every new market achieves profitable traction within 90 days.
This is a high-ownership role ideal for an operations-minded, analytical, and execution-obsessed leader who can move fast and build systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own market expansion strategy — research, planning, and launch execution for new cities, regions, and service lines.
- Conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, and operational viability assessments before entry.
- Design and execute localized launch playbooks, including provider supply growth, customer acquisition, and partnerships.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Ops, Marketing, Product, PR) to ensure seamless pre-launch readiness.
- Establish key launch KPIs: bookings, activation rates, CAC, payback, and local NPS.
- Recruit and onboard early provider teams to ensure supply readiness pre-launch.
- Partner with Marketing to execute hyper-local campaigns — digital + grassroots activations.
- Build relationships with local partners, associations, and stakeholders to accelerate market adoption.
- Analyze post-launch performance data, identify bottlenecks, and optimize pricing, service mix, and supply-demand balance.
- Develop repeatable expansion frameworks and dashboards to support rapid multi-city rollouts.
- Collaborate with Leadership on strategic prioritization of markets based on ROI and scalability.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, market expansion, or business strategy — ideally in marketplaces, logistics, mobility, or eCommerce.
- Proven success launching and scaling multi-city operations in fast-moving environments.
- Strong grasp of unit economics, growth levers, and local market dynamics.
- Exceptional cross-functional coordination skills — can align Marketing, Ops, Product, and PR in tight timelines.
- Analytical and data-driven — comfortable building models, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Hands-on and resourceful — able to execute locally when needed (provider onboarding, partnerships, activations).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — bias for action, ownership, and iteration.
- Experience at a logistics, ride-hailing, or on-demand delivery platform (e.g., Uber, Grab, Gojek, Lalamove, Foodpanda, etc.).
- Previous market expansion leadership in SEA or similar developing markets.
- Knowledge of AI-driven operations, automation, or growth modeling.
- Network of logistics or retail partnerships at a regional level.
- Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
