Role

Role: Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with teams to resolve complex application and system issues
  • Facilitate root cause analysis while providing timely updates to the stakeholders
  • Assure quality support is provided by utilizing industry best practices, and follow the industry standards and ITIL guidelines for service management
  • Complete the triaging of technical issues and requests within the agreed SLAs
  • Provide operational guidance and training to level 1 support and other internal teams
  • Provide technical assistance for issues and requests raised by the clients
  • Possess a deep understanding of issue logging systems including JIRA and other helpdesk tools for managing service requests
  • Be continuously updated on the new products launched and be actively involved in the knowledge documentation process
Requirements
  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a production support role
  • Ability to work with business executives and technology personnel to prioritize tasks and projects according to operational priorities
  • Self-driven and resourceful in yielding deliverables independently and in collaboration with others
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills when diagnosing technical issues and providing technical advice and guidance to clients
  • Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
