About Ecotel

Ecotel is a fast-growing independent Australian telco specialising in PBX, IoT SIMs, business internet and telecom solutions.

We're looking for an Appointment Setter to scale with us and carve out their own team, which they will will then go on to manage.


Role Overview

You will be the front line of our sales engine: making outbound calls to Australian businesses (AEST day shifts), qualifying leads, and booking appointments for our closers. This is a stable, full-time role, not contract work — with base salary + high commission + recurring income built in.


What You'll Do
  • Make outbound calls to Australian businesses (during day shifts)
  • Book qualified sales appointments for our closing team
  • Use our tested call scripts and objection handling methods
  • Log calls, manage follow-ups, update CRM
  • Meet weekly KPIs (e.g. 30+ appointments / month)
  • Participate in training, coaching, and process improvement

Must Have
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
  • Motivated, resilient, target-driven mindset
  • Basic computer & CRM proficiency
  • Availability during Australian daytime hours

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B outbound sales or telesales
  • Familiarity with telecommunication, SaaS, or business services

Earning Example

A high-performer meeting KPIs can reach AUD 50,000+ / month (base + commissions + bonuses). Your recurring income scales as your appointments convert to long-term clients.


Reporting & Team

You'll report to the Outbound Team Lead / SDR Manager. You'll work in a close-knit outbound team alongside closers, operations, and support staff.
