Job description:

The Accounting Associate is responsible for processing invoices and billings, matching, reconciliation and payments and ensuring accurate track of transaction records. You will also be providing support to the accounting team and will be handling the tracking, analyzing, and managing the costs associated with the production of our goods and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and processing of issued invoices, invoice indexing, and processing of payment collections
  • Payment posting management, and ensures the correctness of the invoices before sending them to the proper recipients.
  • Daily invoice reconciliation.
  • Preparation of cheques such as double-checking its recipients and depositing it to the accounts
  • Maintain organized and precise records of the bills owed and paid, adhering to company guidelines and standard accounting practices.
  • Provide support during the month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
  • Collect, analyze and report on cost or expense data
  • Maintain an expenses database ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies
  • Evaluate the cost of production, monitor the inventory level to identify areas for cost reduction, evaluation of the operation's performance and conduct periodic inventory reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of cost reports for management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental and production budgets.
  • Recommend improvements in production processes.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and potential areas for cost reduction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, and Finance
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be living within Sta. Rosa, Laguna
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
  • Willing and eager to learn and go the extra mile.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment in a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Amenable to work in a pure onsite setup
  • Can start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
