We are looking for a Gateway Manager with strong experience in logistics, courier, or related industries. The role is responsible for leading Gateway operations, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound shipment flow, adherence to SLAs, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, loss prevention, and high-quality service delivery across domestic and international shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Gateway operations to ensure accurate sorting, processing, and forwarding of shipments (domestic and international) by air and land.
  • Oversee shipment flow, considering transport schedules and cut-off times.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with airline partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
  • Drive operational improvements, efficiency measures, and manpower productivity.
  • Provide excellent service delivery across the company's multiple logistics products and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Sales & Marketing, Operational Excellence, MIS, and Branches) to align processes and ensure smooth gateway operations.
  • Ensure timely scanning of shipments for visibility and information flow.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and manage claims and lost inventory processes.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate Gateway Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Associates.
  • Motivate and guide the team to achieve high productivity and performance standards.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce losses caused by discrepancies, process deviations, or missed KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics and/or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, particularly sorting, dispatch, and airline forwarding.
  • Proven ability to manage and measure operational performance.
  • Customer-centric and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Willing to work night shifts, extended hours (especially during peak seasons), and travel as required.
