Mobile Equipment Supervisor

Qualifications:

1. Education: Preferably a College Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

2. Experience: should have had a minimum of 5 years of experience in the same capacity of same Repairs and Maintenance Workshop handling heavy and light vehicles.

3. Job Specific: Should have had acquired skills in Computer and good communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The MES Supervisor shall be responsible for the proper implementation of all ICTSI Company Policies and Procedures with Engineering's Core Values of Growth, Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, and Compassion as the main driving force of accomplishment

2. Shall ensure that Equipment Reliability are maintained at its highest level possible by proper coordination with Operations (OPS) and Engineering's Planning and Development (PAD) in implementing planned maintenance and immediate repair of emergency or corrective maintenance works

3. Shall identify safety/environment/health risks and prepare a documented risk assessment of any activity that has not had a documented Safe System of Works

4. Shall ensure that the Section have available MES Rank and File employees (Mechanics, Electrical Technicians, Tiremen, Equipment Cleaners and Documentation Assistants) to complement the Section's daily workload. It is the Supervisor's responsibility to report to his Superintendent/Manager any lack of personnel due to unplanned absences and recommend corrective measures if required

5. Shall ensure that equipment's daily availability is at its highest possible quantity and submits the Equipment Availability Status of Mobile Equipment to OPS on a regular basis

6. Shall ensure that resources such as tools, spare parts/materials and repair equipment are available to complete the assigned tasks to Mechanics, Electrical Technicians and Equipment Cleaner in a safe and orderly manner

7. Shall coordinate with his Superintendent and Material Management Section (MMS) all material/spare parts requirement that needs replenishment or issuance of Purchase Requisition for future or planned repairs and maintenance. Shall be able to identify his requirement through the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts catalog or recommend alternative parts through other source of reliable technical data or information

8. Shall conduct the Daily Toolbox Meeting on his assigned Shift and ensure that all MES personnel are mindful of all the safety aspects of their job tasks. Additional safety reminders as required shall be communicated through the Toolbox Meeting and properly understood by all in attendance

9. Shall conduct regular inspection of all works/jobs done on Preventative (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) completed by subordinates and signs-off on the relevant form that is properly accomplished and filled-in by the subordinate

10. Shall conduct regular audit/inspections of Workshop Tools and Equipment that is for general use and coordinates with his Superintendent and irregularity (defective or missing) and identify if such is due to wear and tear or improper/careless use

11. Shall be capable of using the SAP Enterprise Asset Management System in his day-to-day planning and implementation of PM/CM works on various mobile equipment and service vehicles

12. Shall endeavor to identify his and subordinates training needs and prepares the Training Needs Matrix to be planned for budgeting and implementation by his Manager and Human Resource Department (HRD)

13. Shall plan through the Manpower Rostering System in coordination with his Superintendent the scheduled rest days and holidays manpower requirement for the whole year and adjusted as necessary to ensure daily manpower availability

14. Shall suggest/recommend any improvement that may help the company in controlling expenses through expense saving initiatives that would improve processes and way of doing things

15. Shall be able to work on oily, dusty, hot / humid and wet / cold environments with the proper use of Personnel Protective Equipment issued for such conditions.

16. Shall be always of good health and clear eyesight (with aid of graded spectacles/eyewear/contact lenses)

17. Shall be able to perform other duties and assignments that will be assigned by his/her Superiors from time to time

18. Performs other related duties as assigned
