
Accounts Payable Assistant

Basic Function
To facilitate an accurate and systematic recording of transactions for the efficient preparation of payment by ensuring the validity and authenticity of supporting documents. To assist in maintaining company's book of accounts to ensure its accuracy, correctness and completeness that will aid the management in formulating sound decisions by using the record in making management tools such as reports and analysis.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that all payable transaction is maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. .
a. Receive and verify all request for payments
b. Verify that transaction comply with company's policies regarding required attachments and authorization procedures
c. Prepares ledger for payees account
d. Maintain listing of accounts payable
e. Prepares the accounts payable voucher
f. Maintain and update vendor master file
2. Establishment and reconciliation of SL balance of creditor account. Engage in preparation of schedules and account analysis.
3. Preparation and monitoring of retention payable.
4. Monitoring and maintaining Subsidiary Ledger / Schedules of Liability and Expense accounts. Ensure that the accounting schedules tie up with the trial balance.
5. Files document systematically for easy reference and retrieval of information
6. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the AP Supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
Accounting Graduate or any related course
At least 6months to 1 year of related work experience is preferred
Working experience in accounts payable and other related field
Computer Literate: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SAP, other accounting Software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php17, Php20,000.00 per month
