Role Description

As Marketing Manager, you are responsible for leading the execution of our marketing campaigns, ensuring Dev Team's brand and message resonate with the right audiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver campaigns that engage, inspire, and convert. You are the hands-on executor who turns strategy into action, while also acting as a key collaborator with internal teams, clients, and partners. During the Head of Brand and Marketing's maternity leave, you will also step up to provide interim strategic leadership for the department, ensuring continuity in direction, performance, and delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

Campaign & Strategy Execution

  • Create and implement marketing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable marketing campaigns across social media, email, website, print, and events.
  • Collaborate with the PR & Events Manager to amplify campaigns and drive audience engagement.
  • Monitor industry and ecommerce trends to keep campaigns relevant, reactive, and innovative.
  • Partner with internal teams (operations, client services, design) to deliver high-quality content such as case studies, articles, and creative assets.

Content & Brand Management

  • Conceptualise, plan, and oversee the creation of compelling content (blogs, videos, infographics, website copy, social posts).
  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure assets align with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Maintain and safeguard brand identity, ensuring consistency across digital

and offline channels.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct competitor analysis, market segmentation, and customer insight research.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimise campaigns, identify growth opportunities, and refine marketing approaches.

Internal Communications & Support

  • Provide marketing input and collateral for product/service launches, partnerships, and sales initiatives.
  • Support internal advocacy with branded resources (presentations, case studies, documentation).
  • Strengthen cross-team collaboration, ensuring internal stakeholders feel supported by marketing.

Budget & Performance Tracking

  • Manage and update marketing budgets, following internal processes for purchase orders.
  • Track campaign KPIs and marketing metrics, reporting on outcomes and identifying areas for optimisation.

Additional Responsibilities During Maternity Leave (Interim Leadership)

Strategic Direction & Team Leadership

  • Oversee the overall marketing and brand strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the C-Suite on marketing matters.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Marketing and PR & Events functions, ensuring delivery against department priorities.
  • Maintain accountability for brand consistency, departmental KPIs, and budget oversight.
